I am Torbjørn Mohn and I live in the beautiful city of Bergen Norway.
I’m about 50 years old, and live with my wife in our brand new appartement at Fløentoppen, a new appartement complex a few kilometers from the city center. We moved in here late fall 2006, and I have involved myself a lot in the building process here. I am also responsible for the web site Fløentoppen borettslag.
I work as the IT-Manager for a company called Bennex AS. I am responsible for the management of the IT systems. The systems are based on Microsoft Windows Active Directitory (Windows 2003 Server), including Exchange 2003 email system, SQL 2005 database systems etc. in a multi site environment based on fixed VPN links to 4 different sites in different corners of the world. In my spare time, I am mostly involved with my family, especially my two lovely grandchildren, Fredrik (10) and Julie (6). They visit us often, and loves sleeping over when ever they get a chance.
I also run a BBS system called “Circle Of Protection”. I’ve been running this system since 1995, and even though it’s a bit old fashioned these days, there is still a lot of world wide activity in the Fidonet network. Lots of old SYSOP’s still grinding their axes, and having fun at each others expense. If you are an old BBS’er, don’t hesite to contact me, or log in.
